Getting to Beauvais by train, local bus or coach

As well as the direct coach from Paris, Beauvais Airport is served by local bus no. 6 from the centre of Beauvais and its railway station, by buses on the Corolis network and by the 601 coach from Amiens. From Paris you can also take a TER train to Beauvais and do the last leg by bus or taxi.

By train from Paris, via Beauvais station

TER regional trains leave from Paris Gare du Nord and reach Beauvais SNCF station in around 1 hr 15 min. From there you still need to get to the airport, about 6.5 km away: you can take local bus no. 6 or a taxi, which takes about 10 minutes and costs around €17 during the day and €21 at night, on Sundays and on public holidays.

Remember that you need to add the time and cost of that last leg to the train journey. If you want a trip from Paris with no changes, the direct Paris – Beauvais coach is usually quicker and simpler.

TER train times and fares can be found on the SNCF website.

Local bus and Corolis buses from Beauvais

If you land at Beauvais and want to visit the town or stay the night there, local bus route no. 6 and the direct buses on the Corolis network link the airport with the centre of Beauvais, where you will find the hotels and the SNCF railway station. If you are thinking of staying, take a look at the hotels near the airport and what to see in Beauvais.

Coach from Amiens: route 601

The Hauts-de-France region and Oise Mobilité run coach route 601 between Amiens and Beauvais Airport, stopping at Froissy and Breteuil. It operates seven days a week, including public holidays, with very comfortable coaches and low fares.

Timetables and fares are on the Oise Mobilité website, and you can also get information by phone on +33 (0)970 150 150.

Getting around Paris: metro, RER and buses

To reach Porte Maillot or La Villette, where the airport coaches leave from, the easiest option is the Paris public transport network (RATP). The t+ ticket is valid on the metro, city buses, trams, the Montmartre funicular and the RER.

At the airport there is a ticket office at the bus station, between the two terminals, where you can get t+ tickets to use when you arrive in Paris. Official information on tickets and fares is on the Île-de-France Mobilités website.

Shared taxi

If public transport times don’t suit you, for example with very early or late flights, there is a private or shared transfer service that runs 24 hours a day, from €39.99 per person in a shared taxi. We explain it under private and shared transfers.

Pony electric scooters

At the airport, the company Pony offers self-service electric scooters for hire, unlocked with your mobile phone. They are next to the information point, between Terminal 1 and Terminal 2, near the coach ticket office. The fare is €1 to unlock plus €0.26 per minute.
