If you haven’t checked in yet
If you didn’t do online check-in or you have luggage for the hold, go to the check-in desks. When you enter the terminal, look for your flight on the large screens near the entrances: they show whether you are leaving from T1 or T2 and, in the last column, which desks are handling your flight.
At the desk you can:
- choose a seat or be given one at random, depending on availability;
- collect your boarding pass;
- hand over the bag that goes in the hold.
The staff can answer any questions about your flight.
If you have already checked in
If you only have hand luggage, go straight to the security check. At the desk you can also ask whether it is possible to change your seat or check in an extra bag, although these changes may come at a cost.
Special cases
- Travelling with children: check beforehand which documents you will be asked for at check-in. More information under families and children. Pushchairs, car seats and baby carriers are also registered and tagged at check-in.
- Travelling with your pet: you must register and declare it at the desk. More information under travelling with pets.
- Bulky luggage: this is handed over at the dedicated desk. More information under checked and special luggage.
Stick to your flight’s deadlines. If you are late for check-in or boarding, your booking is cancelled and you will have to buy a new ticket for another flight, if there are seats available. After checking in, head to the departure area as soon as possible: at the busiest times there can be long queues.
