Before you travel
Online check-in for flights from Beauvais
If you check in online and have no bag to check, you can go straight to the security check at the airport. Each airline decides when online check-in opens and how it works.
Why it pays to do it beforehand
Depending on the airline, check-in is done at the airport or in advance on its website or app. Checking in online has two advantages:
- you skip the desk and go straight to the security check (unless you have a bag to put in the hold);
- you can choose your seat in advance, by the window or on the aisle.
- Go to your airline’s website or app as soon as check-in opens. The time window varies from one airline to another.
- Check your details and those of your travelling companions before confirming.
- Choose a seat if you want a particular one, and confirm your check-in.
- Download your boarding pass to your computer or phone.
Many airlines show your boarding pass in their app once you have checked in, so there is no need to print it. Some, such as Ryanair’s, also show the terminal, the check-in desk and the boarding gate. If in doubt, check today’s departures or the screens at the airport.
Online check-in with each airline
Even if you have checked in at home, allow plenty of time to get to the airport: there can be long queues at security. See how early to arrive.
